Bio

Raghav Bali is a Data Scientist at Delivery Hero, one the world’s leading food delivery service based out of Berlin, Germany. With over a decade’s experience, his work involves research & development of enterprise level solutions based on Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing for real world use-cases. Raghav has published multiple peer-reviewed papers, has authored over 7 books and is a co-inventor of multiple patents in the areas of machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing. In his previous role at Intel, he was involved in enabling proactive data driven IT initiatives using Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning and traditional statistical methods. He has also worked in finance domain with American Express, solving digital engagement and customer retention use cases.

During Masters, I’ve taken up exciting and challenging courses related to Machine Learning, Software Architecture, Advanced Algorithms and Operating systems. I also worked on a number of large scale projects such as Language Recognizer for Indian Languages , Hierarchical Document Clustering System, Bitcoin Payments based Cloud Provisioning Platform and so on.

On the side, I am a technology enthusiast who loves reading and playing around with new gadgets and technologies. I am a shutterbug who likes capturing moments, checkout my instagram and vsco.
